May the 4th be with you!

The students thoroughly enjoyed getting into character, dressed up for Star Wars Day, for “May the 4th be with you” festival.  Our classrooms and playground were filled with Princess Leias, Luke Skywalkers, Darth Vadars and Stormtroopers today.

The benefits of roleplaying should not be under estimated and it forms an integral part of the Aistear curriculum at infants level.  Indeed play has never been more important than it is right now after a tumultuous year of quarantining and lockdown. Roleplay…
