Sacraments May 2019
Children from Ms. Ryan's 1st and 2nd classes made their First Holy Communion on the 5th May in Ballycoog Church. Fr. Byrne celebrated Mass and music was provided by the school choir and our Music Generation tutor, Karen Johnston. It was a lovely occasion with families enjoying refreshments in Ballycoog Community Hall after the ceremony, kindly organised by some parents and the Ballycoog I.C.A. Congratulations to Kitty, Jenna, Elsie and Stephen on their First Holy Communion.
Children from Mr. Byrne's 5th and 6th classes made their Confirmation on the 17th May in Avoca Church alongside pupils from Redcross and Avoca. Archbishop Diarmuid Martin and Fr. Byrne presided over Mass and it was a wonderful occasion for the children and their families. Congratulations to Faye, Ava, Emma, Ruby, Rhys, Shauna and Alex on their Confirmation.
